my mini holiday to tasmania...

well im back from my holiday to tassie. i had an absolute ball. there were no cofrontations with the other girls, everyone got along well without a hitch.
the trip started off with us flying to hobart. we hired a mini bus for the the 4 days were away.so once we landed we ventured off to our motel room. it was 2 stories(as big as a house) with 4 bedrooms,3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, living room and dining area.when settled, we went to safeway and bought nibblies and alcohol. a very important purchase to keep one well hydrated!LOL.
As night was nearing we had a bite to eat at a restaurant in salamanca square.then we vetured onto port arthur to endure a ghost tour! Now that was an eye opener. very spooky/eerie on a 5 degree night. the tour guide showed us a house the medical examiner lived in. there were noises comming from inside. our tour guide told us to be quiet as its probably the furnature moving around. thats what it did sound like. i dont know weather to believe it or not. i asked if there was heating or something in the house. she said theres a cooling system as the house is full of antiques. i tend to believe that was the sound we heard?????
the scariest part of the tour for me was going into the penetarium.it was dark and very daunting. the guide told us just a few days a go on a tour, a woman gasped and said she heard the whisper of a voice saying"help me, help me."not only that. our tour guides touch was going flat. she was in a rush to get out of there. so was i!!!!
when that was over we drove back to our motel.it was around 12-30am when we arrived back.so we chatted, drank and then played a card game called bullshit. was very funny with lots of laughs. When everyone went to bed,i went upstairs to get a drink.i heard two of the girls in there room laughing.i then barged in and went"ARGHHHH!"thery screamed and said i scared the pants off them.(ange the prankster).
After retiring to go to bed at 330 am, i surprising slept like a log.mind you alcohol can do wonders as a sedative.so up and at it the next day at 830am.our stop was the salamanca market.it had lots of nic nacks of hand made goodies etc etc..i purchased a cat ornament.how original for me.NOT.hahahaha.
post our venturing of the market stalls,we had a very long drive ahead of us to straughn.however we did a few stops on the way.our first was a place called Meadowbank lake.It was absolutely picturesque. unfuckingbelievable!( see the pics attatched).theres a bridge there called Dunrobbin bridge. i have never seen anything like it. my description of the place is its a painting!!!
we then went to russel falls. very pretty and relaxing.also quite chilly... nature does do wonders to forget about the chill factor.then it was lake sinclair.once again beautiful and relaxing to suck in the serenity....
during our travells on the bus, we sang, played games, and joked around with alot of laughs. Straughn wasnt much. we arrived at 8pm,ate at the pub, watched t.v,and then went to bed.excitement plus hey? we were all stuffed after travelling for such a long time.....
sunday i woke early.i went over to the other girls cabbin, got a glass of water and threw it over the shower curtain to get one of the girls showereing. "Ange the prankster strikes again".....
we made our way to cradle mountain.we explored lake dove. very immpressive i must say.then off to our last destination,"Launcestion."
we went out for tea at a pub then hydrated ourselves back at the room with alcohol. played some more drinking card games, and managed to play one more prank. this time i went to bed early with one of the other girls. i told her we should play a prank by getting everyones pillows. so up we get and end up with approximately 20 pillows. the girls heard us and took all the pillows so we had none! then they short sheeted the bed.in the end we did get our pillows back.....
last day monday the 16th of may. Happpy Birthday to kristy! we all put $$ for a ticket for a boat cruise along the timor river. it went for 4 hrs which included morning tea and lunch.was good and enjoyable. so that wraps up my tassie trip. i had soooo much fun and have made some good new friends. Now we are trying to figure out where to go next......................
